Had a relaxing 4 nights at Jamala Guesthouse. the staff was friendly the whole time. - We enjoyed our queen room with a good breakfast, fan, and European sockets. - the hotel is centrally located in the city. - the restaurant served delicious food.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay, had a very nice experience. It was a perfect hotel in the middle of Lamu. Rooms were airy and provided with a fan and European sockets, for example. The location was particularly good there, right on the beachfront.

I had a blast exploring the old town. The breakfast area had a rustic charm and the common kitchen was a fun place to socialize. The continental breakfast was decent enough to keep my jetlagged self going.
Who needs good wifi anyway? It's not like I needed it to work or anything.

The staff at Jamala House is fantastic and very helpful, providing great advice for budget travelers. the rooftop area offers a beautiful view of the water, town, and sunrise. the location is also convenient for walking to the beach. the breakfast is quite nice and the common areas have good wifi.
Felt well taken care of, no complaints.

jamala guesthouse was beyond my expectations during my recent long weekend in lamu. the property was even better than the pictures, with a warm and welcoming staff. the manager, baji, went above and beyond to make our stay memorable by giving us a walking tour of lamu town and recommending the best activities based on our interests. highly recommend!

The room I stayed in had a cozy vibe and I instantly felt at home. The balcony offered a beautiful garden view that was perfect for my morning coffee. It truly added a touch of serenity to my stay.
Personally, I would have preferred more variety in the view from the balcony. But hey, that's just my personal preference.
